This study should support the overall work of UNIDO in the area of Renewable Energy with a focus on two countries of East-Africa viz. Ethiopia and Uganda. The Community Led Total Sanitation (CLTS) approach concentrates on achieving sanitary behaviour outcomes by the entire community aided by appropriate ways to ignite change, along with the recognition for communities securing the desired outcomes of an open defecation free environment.
