Artificial Fruit ripening agents like Calcium Carbide are widely used for artificial banana fruit ripening which is harmful for both human being and environment due to presence of traces of arsenic and phosphorus.Lack of bio based easier and rapid methods for uniform ripening poses a major problem in the fruit industry.
