Air and Water Quality report of Maharashtra

The Maharashtra Pollution Control Board (MPCB) regularly monitors the qualitative state of the water resources across the state as well as the air quality across various locations in the state. TERI has been extending support to the State Pollution Control Board in sorting and analyzing the data sets whilst developing graphical and spatial illustrations.
Designing climate products and models for India

Ecological baseline assessment and biodiversity mapping of coastal ecosystem

A project supported by GIZ assesses the ecological baseline of the coastal marine protected area – the Dr. Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary in Chorao, Goa. The broad objectives of this project is conducting review and suggest participatory management of the Island estuarine ecosystem and to conduct baseline assessment of ecological status of the marine protected area.

However, important traits such as pollen meiosis, germination, ovule development, viability and development of the embryo and fruit set of most tomato cultivars are adversely affected under temperatures higher than 35°C. This leads to non-availability in certain months.

Environmental Status reports for Urban Local Bodies
