Solid waste management exposure workshops for the officials of ULBs and elected representatives under Swachh Bharat Mission (Urban) Phase IV (2019 - 2020) Cluster No. 02 and No. 11

The main objectives of the workshops are to: (1) recognize the issues, challenges and constraints of Solid Waste Management; (2) understand the Solid Waste Management Rules, 2016; (3) awareness on various approaches, technologies, and their financial implications; (4) plan to implement solutions in their city; (5) achieve capacity building of ULB staff for implementing the plans; (6) sensitization on Swachh Survekshan 2020.
