Regional Workshop on Global Energy Transformation Pathways and Policy Tools

TERI in collaboration with the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) and the International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis (IIASA) are jointly organizing a one-day workshop on 8 May 2012, in New Delhi, India.
The focus of the workshop will be on transformational scenarios that simultaneously achieve multiple energy sustainability objectives (security of energy supply, climate change mitigation and air-pollution reduction), as well as policy scenarios that achieve universal modern energy access objectives by 2030. The workshop will introduce two Energy Policy and Planning Tools. The focus of the workshop will be on developments globally as well as in the South Asian region.
