Medicinal Plant Wealth of India: A comprehensive review of selected species

There are many research institutions, universities, non-governmental organizations, farmers groups, women self help groups etc. across the country, who are engaged in various research and development activities related to medicinal plants. However, much of this information is scattered and sometimes access to them is a challenging task. In view of this, the National Medicinal Plant Board (NMPB) has appropriately prioritized collection, compilation and documentation (digitization) of published information on various aspects of selected Indian medicinal plants in order to prepare comprehensive monographs of some of the most important medicinal plant species.
