India's inputs for the United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development

This project was undertaken for the Ministry of Environment and Forests, GoI and provided the technical inputs for the documentation to be prepared from India for the Secretary General''''''''s Report to the Second meeting of the Preparatory Committee of the United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development. In preparation of these inputs, research was undertaken to analyze the progress made by India in achieving sustainable development, new and emerging challenges that India is facing and India''''''''s perspective on the concept of "green economy'''''''''''''''' and changes and adjustments that are required for strengthening the global institutional architecture on sustainable development.
