ESPA Situation Analysis - Indo-HinduKush

The aim of this project is to deliver a Situation Analysis (SA) for ''''India and the Hindu Khush'''', which will be used to inform the design of the ''''Ecosystem Services and Poverty Alleviation Programme'''' jointly being designed by the NERC, ESRC & DFID (all of UK). The SA will provide a synthesis of information on the current status of and challenges to the ecosystem services that are most important to the well-being of the poor in the South Asian (SA) region (hereafter referred to as the region), in conjunction with an assessment of the key ecosystem management functions for maximising poverty alleviation.
