Energy Efficiency Initiative and Consultation Workshop - Transport, Energy Efficiency and Climate Change (TA-6261 (REG))

The primary objective of the consulting services is to prepare a paper summarizing transport, energy efficiency and climate change impacts in India over the period to 2030. The paper will provide an input to a Policy and Investment Framework on Energy Efficiency and Climate Change in the Transport sector that is being prepared for the Asia Pacific region and will be one of several papers being prepared for discussion at the spring meeting of the IMF/World Bank in April 2006 and subsequent G8 meeting scheduled to be held in St. Petersburg in July 2006.
