Development, field testing, and demonstration of gasifier system for arecanut processing in Assam

The main objective is to develop a tailor-made gasifier system package for arecanut processing in order to meet the thermal energy requirement for boiling and drying. The package will be field-tested in a selected site for demonstrations along with getting user feedback. This will help in arriving at a user-friendly and acceptable system package for future, large-scale promotion. Detailed study of the existing process/system used to obtain design base data, design and development of suitable gasifier-based system to meet the thermal energy requirement, and field demonstration-cum-performance monitoring of the developed gasifier system for arecanut processing in Assam are the future goals.
