Detailed survey regarding present status of Jatropha plantation in nine states of India

The main objective of this project is to conduct a detailed survey regarding the status of Jatropha plantations in nine states of India - Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Orissa, Rajathan, Tamil Nadu, Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh. The secondary data collection would include: extent of coverage of Jatropha and Pongamia plantations, type and ownership of land, plantation on government land, etc. The primary data collection would include: survival percentage of plants, yield per hectare, average plant height, etc.
