CDM promotion platform: interaction between Indian and Japanese stakeholders

The Japan Consulting Institute proposes to set up a CDM (clean development mechanism) Promotion Platform Scheme, which will provide an opportunity for interaction between the EPC suppliers possessing unique technology in the areas of energy conservation and air pollution control in Japan and industries in India that may want to use these technologies to develop the CDM projects. The platform will also identify potential investors who want to invest in particular CDM projects. The objective of this project is to provide support to this platform by introducing potential CDM projects from India and facilitating interaction between the Indian project proponents and Japanese investors.
