Carbon Governance at Sub-national Level in India

The project aims to conduct a study on carbon governance at sub-national level in India conducive to measurement, reporting and verification (MRV) of Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emission reduction by urban planning in relevant sector. In concrete terms, the study will: (1) Examine methodological framework for the MRV of GHG in India; (2) Support and research for the establishment of institutional and governance structure, and capacity building for the MRV of GHG.
