ADB collaborates with TERI on LaBL to make lighting facilities reach at least 1500 households
ADB collaborates with TERI on LaBL to develop new methodologies and approaches and support demonstration projects that are scalable and replicable and/or modalities that are designed to lead to large scale programs and will have the most significant long term impacts on increasing households access to energy. The project aims to provide access to lighting facilities to about 1500 households translating to reaching 30-40 villages. The area of operations will focus on 2-3 states and will try to demonstrate new delivery mechanisms in terms of co-funding support from the LaBL Associate. The project also includes conducting training programs for entrepreneurs and local financial organization on business models and technology.
