Workshop on 'Energy Efficient Japanese Technologies and Best Practices in Compressed Air System'
A workshop on "Energy Efficient Japanese Technologies and Best Practices in Compressed air System" was jointly organized by TERI and IGES on 11th of October 2014 at Courtyard Marriott, Pune under the IGES Joint Crediting Mechanism Feasibility study regarding the application of Japanese 'low carbon technology' in India for FY 2014. The workshop organised by TERI was supported by IGES (Institute of Global Environment Strategies - Japan) and MEDA (Maharashtra Energy Development Agency), Government of Maharashtra.
The objective of the workshop was to raise awareness of relevant Indian stakeholders regarding best practices of compressed air system. Mr Saito, Sr Engineer from Hitachi, Japan, Dr Rabhi from IGES, Japan, Mr Yoshizaki from IGES, Japan, Mr Hemant Patil from MEDA, Government of Maharashtra, Mr Prosanto Pal, Mr Chetankumar and other members from TERI were shared their views and made presentation during the workshop.
Total 44 participants attended the workshop from various stakeholders like mainly industries, Government agencies, various Institutes from Pune and other parts of the country.
