Training Program on 'Air Quality Modelling and Source Apportionment'
TERI and TERI University jointly organized a training programme on air quality modelling and source apportionment during 26-28 November, 2014. This was the sixth programme conducted in series in the last few years. The programme was sponsored by the Central Pollution Control Board, New Delhi. It aimed at capacity building of the central and state pollution control board officials in the domain of air quality modelling.
Considering the current sensitivity towards air quality issues, the programme was keenly attended by around 20 officials from different states and central pollution control boards across India. The programme primarily dealt with concepts of meteorology, emission inventorization, dispersion (AERMOD and ISCST3), receptor (Chemical Mass Balance), and statistical modelling. The participants were presented with a certificate of participation.
