Seminar on "RE-ENVIS 2015" - Ecological Aspects of Renewable Energy Development in India
TERI ENVIS Centre and Gujarat Ecology Commission are jointly organizing a seminar on "RE-ENVIS 2015" - Ecological Aspects of Renewable Energy Development in India on December 4, 2015 at Gujarat Ecological Education and Research (GEER) Foundation, Indroda Park, Near Indroda Circle, Gandhinagar, Gujarat.
Background:
The seminar will focus on conservation of ecology and environment using renewable energy sources. It will also provide a platform to share best practices, models, experiences, and lessons learned.
Objectives
- The seminar will talk about the salient issues and concerns related to ecological protection using renewable energy research.
- It will provide a platform to the attendees/participants to initiate discussions in the relevant areas for sustainable development.
- It will disseminate information about ENVIS activities among stakeholders.

Participants:
The workshop is expected to draw participants from ENVIS centres, researchers, policy makers from ministries, public and private organizations, faculties and students from various universities and colleges. There is no participation fee for this workshop. The number of participants is limited to 80. Hence, the registration for the participation is on first-come first-serve basis.
