Leadership Coalition on Energy and Industry Transition

TERI and Energy Transitions Commission (ETC) India are hosting a special session, titled 'Leadership Coalition on Energy and Industry Transition', at the margins of the Climate Action Summit and the 74th United Nations General Assembly.

The session will address the themes of 'Accelerating the Decarbonisation of Power in India' and ‘Enabling the Decarbonisation of Indian Industry'. Mr Prakash Javadekar, Hon'ble Indian Union Minister of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEFCC), has in-principle accepted the invitation to deliver the inaugural address at the event.

The special session is being held as a World Sustainable Development Summit (WSDS) 2020 pre-event. The discussions here will be further deliberated at the 2020 edition of the WSDS, TERI’s flagship event, slated in New Delhi from January 29-31, 2020.
