Launch event for Phase IV of the Green School Project

The fourth phase of the Green School Project will be launched online in the presence of R R Satpathy, General Manager -Corporate Services, Tata Steel Kalinganagar.

TERI and Tata Steel Foundation will launch the Phase 4 of the Green School Project in an online event on July 14, 2021 from 3:30 PM – 5:00 PM.

Mr R R Satpathy, General Manager -Corporate Services, Tata Steel Kalinganagar, will be launching the event, in the presence of students, teachers, and principals of the project’s partner schools. TERI’s Green School Project team will be facilitating the event.

The Green School project by TERI, in association with Tata Steel Limited, aims to create awareness and understanding about environmental issues in school campuses in the operational areas of Tata Steel. The project is meant to create awareness among students on climate change and the ways in which sustainable lifestyle can help mitigate its adverse impacts. This is done by promoting environmental stewardship through both classroom and outdoor activities to improve students’ critical, interdisciplinary, and holistic thinking.
