Experts' Group Discussion on Web Portal for RPO monitoring and Compliance in India

TERI and MNRE are organizing a discussion group engaging various stakeholders to accelerate the grid- connected solar capacity addition in the country. The major objective of the workshop is to present a web-based portal to align and collate compliance data and to implement the proposed REC mechanism at the national level. The success of the proposed mechanism will depend on adoption of precise definition of the roles and responsibilities of the institutions, adoption of the appropriate governance structures and capacity building to undertake defined roles and responsibilities.
