The webinar on "Energy Efficiency in Existing Buildings" highlighted the potential of energy saving through retrofitting of existing inefficient lighting and air conditioning systems in existing buildings . It also provided some specific recommendations on how to explore different options of reducing the energy consumption in lighting and air conditioning systems and identify financial mechanism for facilitating retrofits.
