Advanced Course on Sustainable Lighting Practices
A three-day training programme 'Advanced Course on Sustainable Lighting Practices' was jointly organized by Sustainable Habitat Division, TERI, and the Philips Lighting Academy on 24-26 February 2016 at the Seminar Hall, TERI-SRC Bangalore. The programme was organized for professionals from various fields (architects, engineers, consultants) who provide sustainable lighting solutions. This three-day workshop was developed and conducted on indoor lighting applications along with Dialux software practice.
Mr Pradeep Kumar, Director, Sustainable Habitat Division, welcomed all the participants and professionals from TERI and Philips. Further on, the course faculty spoke about GRIHA, LEED, and ECBC requirements for artificial lighting design and the controls required to integrate with day lighting.
TERI professionals and the Philips Lighting Academy faculty delivered lectures on the following topics:

- Daylight Integration with Lighting Controls
- Visual comfort and lighting Energy Audit
- Application of DIAlux tool in lighting design
