@ Disseminate the RTD (research and technological development) framework programme of the European Commission and the projects on cleaner technologies and RETs.
@ Conduct specific co-operative programmes related to the following themes.
- Enhancement of market penetration of solar thermal technologies
- Assessment study of the fuel cells for transportation and power generation
- Studies on the renewable energy system market, including hybrid systems
- Off-shore wind energy
- Rural electrification in Third-World countries
- North-South information exchange on RES (renewable energy systems) best practices
